Resumo: This article is the result of research of a qualitative nature carried out from testimonies collected through semi-structured interviews. An issue is discussed here concerning the negotiations that working women and mothers of young children establish in their homes in order to guarantee the possibility of attending night school. In this sense, the research is part of the work that discusses how gender relations are established in everyday life.
