Pedagogical residence and ethinic-racial relations in physical education

Resumo: The present work reports successful experiences of students of the degree in physical education, in the treatment of ethnic-racial relations by the Pedagogical Residence. After the application of Participatory Planning, students from a public school in Ceará brought demands regarding aspects dealt with by Anti-racist Physical Education, culminating in a discussion and deepening in the relationship with School Physical Education, mediated by resident scholarship holders. The Covid-19 pandemic highlighted social chasms, especially in the educational area, where many students found themselves in a remote teaching situation. The adopted methodology has a qualitative character (experience report), presenting limitations and potential of strategies that go beyond the discussions beyond the virtual classroom environment. Thus, the authors believe that for a fair, critical education that prioritizes equity, it is necessary for the teacher to take a stand in the face of social injustice, proposing the discussion of contemporary themes through audiovisual resources.

Após a aplicação do Planejamento Participativo, estudantes de uma escola pública no Ceará, trouxeram demandas a respeito de aspectos tratados pela Educação Física Antirracista, culminando-se para uma discussão e aprofundamento na relação com a Educação Física Escolar, mediada pelos(as) bolsistas residentes. A pandemia de Covid-19 evidenciou abismos sociais, principalmente na área educativa, onde muitos estudantes encontraram-se em situação de ensino remoto. A metodologia adotada tem caráter qualitativo (relato de experiência), apresentando limitações e potencialidades de estratégias que ultrapassam as discussões para além do ambiente da aula virtual.
