Obstacles in the educational practice of EJA education teachers

Resumo: This article aims to discuss the difficulties that permeate the practice of teachers in the education of young people and adults. To achieve the objective of this work, we used the bibliographic research methodology based on articles and some authors that support the subject. As a result, the research facilitated the reflection on the challenges faced by teachers working in Youth and Adult Education specifically: insufficient continuing education, absence of didactic resources that meets the specificities of the EJA teaching modality, low self-esteem of students, high number of dropout students. We have concluded that despite the deficit in initial and continuing education, lack of support from public policies and adequate material to act with this public so peculiar, namely the young, the adult and the elderly, it is possible to perceive a welcoming posture on the part of teachers in relation to students of the EJA.

Para alcançar o objetivo deste trabalho, utilizamos a metodologia em pesquisa bibliográfica baseada em artigos e alguns autores que fundamentam o assunto. Como resultado a pesquisa facilitou a reflexão acerca dos desafios  enfrentados  pelos  docentes  que  atuam  na  Educação  de  Jovens  e  Adultos especificamente: formação continuada insuficiente, falta de recursos didáticos que atenda as especificidades da modalidade de ensino EJA, baixa autoestima dos educandos, numero elevado de educandos desistente.
