CHALLENGES IN TEACHING-LEARNING IN YOUTH AND ADULT EDUCATION – EJA IN ARAGUAÍNA-TO

Resumo: | The challenges in the teaching and learning process in Youth and Adult Education (EJA) have interfered in the development of Basic Education students in Tocantins. Overcoming obstacles inside and outside the classroom is a major factor in the academic life of those directly involved in the process. This research presents an investigation with a quantitative approach, motivated by the concern to understand the personal challenges faced by students and that influence the teaching and learning process in Youth and Adult Education (EJA). Thus, we have as a guiding question “What are the main personal challenges faced by EJA 1st grade students?”. Thus, the objective is to identify the personal challenges faced by students who study at EJA at Francisco Máximo de Sousa State School in Araguaína-TO. The methodological procedure is the Case Study and to obtain information, we applied a diagnostic questionnaire consisting of thirteen questions. The analysis of the results shows evidence that these challenges have been influencing the student development of these students. |

La superación de obstáculos dentro y fuera del aula es un factor importante en la vida académica de quienes están directamente involucrados en el proceso. Esta investigación presenta una investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, motivada por la preocupación por comprender los desafíos personales que enfrentan los estudiantes y que influyen en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en la Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos (EJA). Por lo tanto, tenemos como pregunta orientadora “¿Cuáles son los principales desafíos personales que enfrentan los estudiantes de 1er grado de EJA?”. Así, el objetivo es identificar los desafíos personales que enfrentan los estudiantes que cursan estudios en EJA en la Escuela Estatal Francisco Máximo de Sousa en Araguaína-TO. El procedimiento metodológico es el Estudio de Caso y para obtener información se aplicó un cuestionario diagnóstico compuesto por trece preguntas. El análisis de los resultados muestra evidencia de que estos desafíos han estado influyendo en el desarrollo estudiantil de estos estudiantes.Os desafios no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) têm interferido no desenvolvimento de alunos da Educação Básica no Tocantins. A superação de obstáculos presentes dentro e fora de sala de aula é fator preponderante para a vida acadêmica dos envolvidos diretamente no processo. Esta pesquisa apresenta uma investigação de abordagem quantitativa, motivada pela inquietação de compreender os desafios pessoais enfrentados pelos estudantes e que influenciam no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA). Assim, temos como questão diretriz “Quais são os principais desafios pessoais enfrentados pelos estudantes das turmas de 1ª série da EJA?”. Desse modo, O objetivo é identificar os desafios pessoais enfrentados por alunos que estudam na EJA da Escola Estadual Francisco Máximo de Sousa em Araguaína-TO. O procedimento metodológico é o Estudo de Caso e para obtenção das informações, aplicamos um questionário diagnóstico composto de treze questões.
