Teacher training for Vocational and Technological Education (EPT): experiences of a course coordinator

Resumo: | The training of teachers for professional and technological education (EPT) is discussed by several researchers and the experiences are starting points for analysis and discussion on the subject. What justifies the writing of this experience report is my experience as a course coordinator at a professional education school. My objective is the narrative of experiences as a course coordinator at a school of Professional and Technological Education in Natal/RN, highlighting the spaces for the continuing education of teachers. The literature review that guided reflexivity was Kuenzer (2011), Moura (2008), Pimenta (1999), Machado (2011) and Tardif (2014). Methodologically, I proceed to the theoretical framework of sociobiography, from a qualitative research approach inspired by Ferreira (2014). The writing of this article is relevant, because, when narrating my experience in professional education schools, especially about how the training of teachers for this field occurs, I connect with the rich flow of self-education that causes the maturation towards professionalities and professionalism necessary for the professional development of teachers. |

O que justifica a escrita desse relato de experiência é a minha vivência enquanto coordenador de cursos em uma escola de educação profissional. Tomo como objetivo a narrativa de experiências enquanto coordenador de curso em uma escola de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica em Natal/RN, ressaltando os espaços destinados à formação continuada dos professores. A revisão bibliográfica que orientou a reflexividade foi Kuenzer (2011), Moura (2008), Pimenta (1999) Machado (2011) e Tardif (2014). Metodologicamente, procedo ao referencial teórico da sociobiografia, a partir de abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa inspirada em Ferreira (2014).
