Business interests in remote education on and educational inequality in Brazil in the pandemic context

Resumo: | Since the end of February 2020, schools and universities have been closed, considering the high risk of contagion in the face of crowds of people. In this context, the federal government applied a series of measures related to the substitution of face-to-face classes with classes that favor the means of technology. Then, the hybrid or remote classes started. Many teachers have dealt with the intensification of their teaching work, at the same time that a significant portion of students are being excluded from this process due to lack of access to the internet and limited housing conditions. Thinking about these aspects, this article aims to problematize remote education and educational inequality in Brazil in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, presenting a bibliographical discussion on these themes and the interest of entrepreneurs in remote education. |

Nesse contexto, o governo federal aplicou uma série de medidas relacionadas a substituição das aulas presenciais por aulas que favoreçam os meios de tecnologia. Iniciou-se, então, as aulas híbridas ou remotas. Muitos (as) professores (as) têm lidado com a intensificação do seu trabalho docente, ao mesmo tempo em que uma parcela significativa de alunos (as) estão sendo excluídos desse processo por falta de acesso a internet e limitadas condições de moradia.
