Resumo: Research clipping carried out in the Specialization Course in Literacy and Multiliteracies, by the Open University of Brazil and Ceara State University, (Universidade Aberta do Brasil/Universidade Estadual do Ceará - UAB/UECE), aiming to understand retextualization as a possibility of work pedagogical approach that considers the production of text, reading and knowledge of textual genres for the meaningful learning of children in the 2nd year of the initial years of elementary school. The analysis was obedient to qualitative procedures, based on the assumptions Marcuschi's theorists (2008; 2010). Its instrument was the proposal of retextualization activity supported by a writing base and the observation of children's involvement and expansion of their learning. We saw the interest and protagonism of the children in the production of oral and written texts, as well as the development of comprehension, reading fluency and knowledge of textual genres. This way, the retextualization reverberates in a teaching contextualized and meaningful for children

A análise foi obediente aos procedimentos qualitativos, fundamentando-se nos pressupostos teóricos de Marcuschi (2008; 2010). Teve por instrumento a proposta de atividade de retextualização com suporte em um escrito-base e a observação do envolvimento das crianças e ampliação da sua aprendizagem. Foram constatados o interesse e o protagonismo das crianças na produção de textos orais e escritos, bem como o desenvolvimento da compreensão, fluência leitora e conhecimento dos gêneros textuais.
