Resumo: | This article aims to present the results of a scientific initiation research that aimed to identify social technologies and contextualized educational practices for living with the semiarid region, highlighting the role of women farmers. The research was based on a qualitative approach. Document analysis and semi-structured interviews were used for data collection, carried out by technological mediation, due to the social isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The research collaborators were men and women who work at the Semi-Arid Agroecology Center (CASA) and at the Brazilian Semi-Arid Articulation (ASA) with implementation processes of the One Million Cisterns Program (P1MC), One Land and Two Program Waters (P1+2) and Cisterns at School Programs (PCE). It is concluded that with the use of social technologies, it is possible, in a decentralized way, at a low cost, to guarantee essential rights, such as access to water for human consumption and for production, strengthening the belonging to one's place. |
