Resumo: The main purpose of this paper is to discuss the possibilities of using movies in the Youth and Adult Education (YAE) as means of giving visibility to the implications of the global capitalism on the world of work. The research was conducted based on the following question: how is it possible to approach the labor relations under capitalist mode of production, starting from the movies as a pedagogical resource in the YAE? The core of the research was to analyze how the world of work is present in productions about movies and education; briefly introduce some methodological aspects to be considered when one intends to use movies in the classroom and, finally, demonstrate some possibilities of using movies to approach the world of work in the YAE as from the movies Peões (2004) and The Nanny Diaries (2007).

A pesquisa foi norteada pela seguinte questão: como é possível abordar as relações de trabalho no modo de produção capitalista, partindo do filme como recurso pedagógico na EJA?
