Resumo: The curricular supervised internship is fundamental in academic and professional training for pedagogical experiences that approach the future professional experience. The application and improvement of the knowledge acquired in the initial training, bring the undergraduate closer to the experience, because it is through it that the theoretical knowledge relates to the practical, making possible a reflection about which methodology and didactics to adopt for the construction of knowledge. Thus, this text aims to report an experience of supervised internship in Physical Education and its main challenges. For this, a qualitative approach methodology of the descriptive type was used. The results described the experiences lived in classes of Elementary School early years in a private institution, located in the municipality of Caucaia. Concluding that there are numerous challenges, but the internship is a tool of paramount importance in the formation of the academic of the Degree in Physical Education for generating experiences and reflections on practical realities.

A aplicação e aprimoramento dos conhecimentos adquiridos na formação inicial, aproximam o graduando da experiência, pois é através dela que o conhecimento teórico se relaciona com o prático, tornando possível uma reflexão acerca de qual metodologia e didática adotar para a construção do saber. Assim, este texto objetiva relatar uma experiência de estágio supervisionado em Educação Física e seus principais desafios. Para isso, foi utilizada uma metodologia de abordagem qualitativa do tipo descritiva. Os resultados descreveram as experiências vivenciadas em turmas do Ensino Fundamental anos iniciais em uma instituição privada, situada no município de Caucaia.
