Resumo: This work discuss the use of digital tools to generate engagement in online classes during the Covid-19 pandemic, at the Fernando Cavalcante Mota state school, on the outskirts of Fortaleza. The study also discusses the role of the teacher in the face of the changes brought about by the pandemic and in the face of digital natives - as those born from the availability of fast and accessible information on the large computer network - the Web The methodological path was built from diagnostic research with students, development of instruments and use of digital tools. As a result, we cite the greater participation of students and an increase of 32.8% in the return of activities.

O estudo discute, ainda, o papel do professor diante das mudanças advindas com a pandemia e diante dos nativos digitais - como são chamados os nascidos a partir da disponibilidade de informações rápidas e acessíveis na grande rede de computadores – a Web O caminho metodológico foi construído a partir de pesquisa diagnóstica com os alunos, desenvolvimento de instrumentais e utilização de ferramentas digitais.
