Resumo: The present work aims to provide a biography of the teacher Teresinha Marlene Piauilino Benvindo, born in the city of Bom Jesus (PI), in which she is located in the southern region of the state of Piauí. She was born on August 25, 1936, daughter of Orlando Ferreira Piauilino and Leondina Santos Piauilino, besides her parents had 12 children. At the age of 29, she married Alcimar Benvindo Rosal, with whom she had three children, two women and one man. To develop this research, we asked: Who was Marlene Piauilino? As for the methodology, we value a qualitative approach, through oral research, highlighting the interviews carried out with her family, friends and former students. We used the following authors: Le Goff (1990), Ferreira; Amado (2006), Thompson (1992) and Fialho (2020). We realized that Marlene was a teacher who became a reference in the education of the municipality, in which she currently has a municipal school named.

Nasceu no dia 25 de agosto de 1936, filha de Orlando Ferreira Piauilino e de Leondina Santos Piauilino, além dela seus pais tiveram 12 filhos.  Aos 29 anos casou-se com Alcimar Benvindo Rosal, com o qual teve três filhos, sendo duas mulheres e um homem. Para desenvolver essa pesquisa indagamos: Quem foi Marlene Piauilino? Quanto a metodologia, valorizamos uma abordagem qualitativa, através da pesquisa oral, destacando as entrevistas realizadas com familiares, amigas e ex-alunos dela. Utilizamos os seguintes autores: Le Goff (1990), Ferreira; Amado (2006), Thompson (1992) e Fialho (2020).
