Schooling conditions and access to the labor market of Ceará youths

Resumo: The objective was to outline the State of the Question on the studies carried out in Ceará with regard to the themes "youths and work" and "youths and education", which allowed to know some public policies of youths carried out at the local level, as well as to analyze the profile of young people from Ceará covered by such services. Methodologically, it was supported by the State of the Question, developed in two national databases that include scientific quality articles, theses and dissertations. It is evident that there are initiatives in the State of Ceará with a view to educating young people in conjunction with professionalization for entering the labor market, which is well evaluated by young people, especially those on the outskirts, who can thus count on training that allows for better qualification. On the other hand, it is also noted that formal schooling and professional qualification have not guaranteed entry into the labor market, frustrating the expectations of many more impoverished young people who see work as a unique alternative to improve their lives

Metodologicamente, amparou-se no Estado da Questão, desenvolvido em duas bases de dados nacionais que contemplam artigos, teses e dissertações com qualidade científica. Evidencia-se haver iniciativas no Estado do Ceará com vistas à escolarização dos jovens em concomitância à profissionalização para a entrada no mercado de trabalho, o que é bem avaliado pelos jovens, prioritariamente aqueles residentes de periferias, que assim podem contar com formação que possibilite melhor qualificação.
