Resumo: | By mastering the techniques of reading and writing, the child will discover a new horizon, still with challenges, but full of opportunities. Given the relevance of the alphabetization and literacy process in the child's life, the study has a qualitative character, configuring itself as a case study with the objective of understanding the use of multiliteracies in the literacy process of children in the 1st year of elementary school. The research is based on authors who discuss literacy, literacy and multiliteracies such as: Soares (2020), Morais (2012), Ferreiro and Teberosky (1979). Therefore, it is concluded that multiliteracy practices in children's literacy help in contextualizing the reality in which children are inserted, attributing meaning to what is being worked with them in the classroom. Which consequently makes the literacy process something interesting and pleasurable. |

Dado a relevância do processo de alfabetização e letramento na vida da criança, o estudo possui caráter qualitativo configurando-se como um estudo de caso tendo como objetivo compreender o uso dos multiletramentos no processo de alfabetização das crianças do 1º ano do ensino fundamental. A pesquisa fundamenta-se em autores que discorrem sobre alfabetização, letramento e multiletramentos tais como: Soares (2020), Morais (2012), Ferreiro e Teberosky (1979). Assim sendo, conclui-se que as práticas de multiletramentos na alfabetização de crianças auxilia na contextualização da realidade em que as crianças encontram-se inseridas, atribuindo significado ao que está sendo trabalhado com elas em sala de aula. O que consequentemente torna o processo de alfabetização algo interessante e prazeroso.
