Technologies in the textbook: possibilities and limits for the teaching of history

Resumo: The work presented refers to the result of research on technologies in the textbook: possibilities and limits in history teaching. We had as object of study the Textbook, we used as a methodology a reading and analysis of official documents from High School, we dialogued with theorists such as Choppin (2004), Silva (2012) and Ralejo (2015), and we cataloged and analyzed four collections approved in the 2018 PNLD. Our main problem was to understand what space technologies such as QR Codes, links, movies, images, among others occupy within the textbook. Therefore, we identified the possibility of visits to virtual museums, official documentation that is not on the pages of the book. The limits pointed to the lack of technological structure and knowledge of the professor with the use of these resources. We conclude that digital technology can contribute to a more dynamic history teaching and improve the uses of what the Textbook can offer.

Tivemos como objeto de estudo o Livro Didático, utilizamos como metodologia uma leitura e análise dos documentos oficiais do Ensino Médio, dialogamos com teóricos como Choppin (2004), Silva (2012) e Ralejo (2015), e fizemos catalogação e análise de quatro coleções aprovadas no PNLD de 2018. Nossa principal problemática foi entender qual o espaço que as tecnologias como QR Codes, links, filmes, imagens, entre outras ocupam dentro do livro didático. Portanto, identificamos a possibilidade de visitas a museus virtuais, a documentação oficial que não esteja nas páginas do livro. Os limites apontaram para a falta de estrutura tecnológica e conhecimento do docente com o uso destes recursos.
