The relationship between collaborative study and the development of socio-emotional skills in early Childhood Education

Resumo: This article aimed to develop a theoretical and practical research on the collaborative study, which was carried out in a private school, in the early years of elementary school, in the city of Quixadá. The study addressed theories about the practice in question, listing its influence on the pedagogical action and on the development of students. The objective is to identify the contributions of the collaborative study, as a way to cut out the main contents on the subject and have contact with data collected in the respective institution. The methodology focused on literature review and case study, using a questionnaire. In this sense, the theoretical framework includes a set of specialized literature, such as: Catania (1999); Piaget (1971); Torres (2015); Rego (2012). The results show that the collaborative approach has been an effective and significant means, which has generated positive results in the professional development and cognitive process of students.

O estudo abordou teorias acerca da prática em questão, elencando sua influência na ação pedagógica e no desenvolvimento dos alunos. O objetivo é de identificar as contribuições do estudo colaborativo, como uma forma de fazer um recorte dos principais conteúdos sobre o tema e ter contato com dados coletados na respectiva instituição. A metodologia centrou-se na revisão bibliografia e estudo de caso, com o uso de questionário. Nesse sentido, o referencial teórico abrange um conjunto literaturas especializadas, tais como: Catania (1999), Piaget (1971), Torres (2015), Rego (2012).
