Approaching to socioemotional skills in remote teaching

Resumo: This article aimed to investigate the approaching of socioemotional skills in public schools in the city of Quixada/CE. The research was exploratory with a qualitative approach, in which we interviewed three teachers from the early years of elementary school, using interviews conducted via google meet and telephone as an instrument for data collection. The analyzes helped us to conclude the socioemotional skills, recommended by the BNCC have not been addressed, because the classes are being held remotely. According to the information collected, students are experiencing emotional problems, such as anxiety, which further demonstrates the need for classes with this type of direction. However, we emphasize the importance of training teachers to teach classes related to education of emotions, as the city, until now, it has no strategies in this regard. Finally, we will expand our research in the future in public schools in the city of Fortaleza/CE.

A pesquisa foi do tipo exploratória com abordagem qualitativa, na qual entrevistamos 3 professoras dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental, utilizando como instrumento para coleta de dados entrevistas realizadas via google meet e telefone. As análises ajudaram a concluir que, as competências socioemocionais, recomendadas na BNCC, não têm sido abordadas, pelo fato das aulas estarem sendo realizadas remotamente. Segundo as informações recolhidas, os alunos estão apresentando problemas de cunho emocional, como a ansiedade, demonstrando mais ainda a necessidade de aulas com esse tipo de direcionamento. Contudo, ressaltamos a importância da formação dos docentes para ministrar aulas relacionadas a educação das emoções, pois no município, até agora, não tem estratégias nesse sentido.
