Resumo: This paper discusses educational policies field through a theoretical study of curriculum policies in a pos-structuralism view of political theory and discourse theory. With this view, we aim at interpreting the common and diversified parts of the National Common Curricular Base – BNCC high school – focusing on Natural Sciences and its Technologies, seeking to question discourses that ground the meaning of scientific education quality related to demands that establish conceptions in the curriculum, competencies, and skills, as well as identity matters. From this theoretical background, it was possible to identify demands for a ‘transparent’ curriculum that follows values such as objectivism and learning standardization based on a notion of society and subject from certain characteristics considered essential for modern society. Aligning with these values, demands for competencies and skills are aimed at “knowing how to do” and for an anticipation of the subject’s actions through the ultimate acceptance of a common social action for all.

Nessa perspectiva, temos como propósito interpretar as partes comuns e diversificadas da Base Nacional Comum Curricular – BNCC Ensino Médio – focando as Ciências da Natureza e suas Tecnologias, de modo a problematizar discursos que fundamentam a significação da qualidade da educação científica vinculados a demandas que instituem as concepções de currículo, competência e habilidade, assim como às demandas identitárias. Foi possível identificar demandas por um currículo ‘transparente’, seguindo os ideais de objetivismo e padronização da aprendizagem, baseadas em um ideal de sociedade e sujeito advindos de certas características ditas essenciais na sociedade contemporânea.
