Resumo: This article outlines considerations about the official documents that regulate the teaching of Art, particularly, Dancing, in Brazil, and aims at problematizing possible considerations about the teaching of Dance for early childhood education and the so called National Curricular Common Base. The assumption we based on is that Dancing as an area of knowledge is at the heart of a perspective that interfaces with early childhood education and the National Curricular Common Base.
