Resumo: In this work we present the process of making and applying a pedagogical practice recently adapted from virtual environments to real environments, called Escape Room, for the diffusion and teaching of Astronomy. Our objective was to investigate under what aspects this real environment proves effective in the teaching of Astronomy, and its potential for use in formal, non-formal and informal teaching spaces. Based on the Theory of Educational Games, Light and Color and, together with Vygotsky's Sociointeractionist Theory, we built the Sirius Escape Room Didactic Guide: Environment for the Diffusion and the Teaching of Astronomy constituting our Educational Product associated with this research. This pedagogical activity comprises an innovative character in the teaching-learning process in Astronomy and in Brazil, because it allows interactivity in the construction of the knowledge of participants in Astronomy of the Solar System. This guide is about guiding employees in the production of the set of didactic materials that contains: informational banners, playful and interactive activities (word search, crosswords, code by images and puzzles), and which has as its thematic axis the stars that make up Our Solar System. The Sirius Escape Room was applied in four stages, the first two being for students in the 2nd and 3rd year of high school at the Integrated Education Center Assis Chateaubriand, with 9 participants; the third moment for students of the 7th class of the Professional Master in Astronomy, with 12 participants, and the fourth moment applied to the 3rd year of high school class at Colégio Millenium, with 18 students, totaling 39 participants in the 4 dynamics performed. It was possible to perceive the assimilation of themes such as the Sun, the Earth and the Moon, as they are discussed during formal education, and had more success in the written activities. On the other hand, themes such as Asteroids, Comets and Meteoroids, in addition to being less attractive, presented a greater number of errors. A satisfaction survey was carried out after the application and, thus, we reported the interest of students and master students in this type of educational practice.

Submitted by Ricardo Cedraz Duque Moliterno (ricardo.moliterno@uefs.br) on 2021-04-07T23:40:29Z No. of bitstreams: 1 9._Dissertacao_Jonecley_Medeiros_14082020.pdf: 8650699 bytes, checksum: 2dcbc7083c2db18f6e956ae101a22573 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2021-04-07T23:40:29Z (GMT).
