The Alfenas Multipurpose and the Remnants of School Practice (1971-1979)

Resumo: This article analyze the installation of the multipurpose gymnasium in the city of Alfenas and examine some aspects of teaching practices established during the first decade of its existence. With a look at the school culture, the documents located at the school and two interviews were taken as sources, which allowed examining the specifics of practices that were established in the institution in a period of significant changes in Brazilian education after the implementation of law no. 5,692/71. The research showed the movement of structuring the school, its vocational characteristic and the functioning of technical disciplines. Daily experiences indicated the construction of civic rituals that fostered a collective identity constitution, but also showed the conflicts and resistance of teachers and students. Alfenas.El artículo analiza la instalación del gimnasio Polivalente en Alfenas y examina algunos aspectos de las prácticas escolares constituidas durante la primera década de su existencia. Con una mirada a la cultura escolar, se ha tomado como fuentes documentos de la escuela y dos entrevistas, que han permitido posibilitaron examinar las particularidades de las prácticas que se establecieron en la institución en un período de significativas transformaciones em la educación brasileña tras la implantación de la ley n. 5.692/71. La investigación ha demonstrado o movimento de estructuración de la escuela, su caracteristica vocacional, y el funcionamiento de las disciplinas técnicas. Las experiencias cotidianas indicaron la construcción de los rituales cívicos que promovieron las constitucion de una identidad colectiva, pero también han evidenciado los conflictos y resistencias de profesores y alumnos. A pesquisa mostrou o movimento de estruturação da escola, sua característica vocacional e o funcionamento das disciplinas técnicas.
