Resumo: | Creativity and innovation are a constant in the fast-paced world of creation and production of clothing. These basic elements need to be deeply attached to sustain the good performance of any organization. However, the requirement to continuously create collections of clothing, with innovative pieces, has been a great challenge and generated a lot of tension for some professionals and students working in the area. As a result, the University of the State of Santa Catarina-UDESC, has been developed research project whose goal is to strengthen the curricula of design disciplines, the Bachelor Course in Fashion Design, linking them with the skills and abilities They prepare the professional breeding area for the product development of innovative fashion clothing. This study presents the partial results of the research, both as regards the construction of theoretical framework, based on the information and contributions of professional literature on creativity and how it is understood in the field of fashion, as the survey of the primary sources, to be used in the first stage of field research on the 50s of the twentieth century. To achieve the proposed goal, it was used as a research method qualitative research, exploratory and descriptive and participant observation. |

Esses elementos básicos precisam estar profundamente ligados, para sustentar o bom desempenho de qualquer organização. Entretanto, a exigência de criar continuamente coleções de roupas, com peças inovadoras, tem sido um grande desafio e gerado muita tensão para alguns profissionais e estudantes que atuam na área. Em razão disso, na Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina-UDESC, vem sendo desenvolvido projeto de pesquisa cujo objetivo é potencializar os conteúdos curriculares das disciplinas de desenho, do Curso de Bacharelado em Design de Moda, articulando-os com as competências e habilidades que preparam o profissional da área de criação, para o desenvolvimento de produto do vestuário de moda inovador. Assim, este estudo apresenta os resultados parciais da pesquisa, tanto no que se refere à construção de referencial teórico, com base nas informações e contribuições da bibliografia especializada, sobre criatividade e como ela é entendida no campo da moda, quanto no levantamento das fontes primárias, a serem utilizadas na primeira etapa da pesquisa de campo, relativa à década de 50, do século XX.
