Resumo: | Many educators have developed research, projects, theses, and dissertations on the process of teaching and learning by analyzing the didactic and pedagogical attitudes of teachers and the requirements for their teaching work. However, what has been observed is that researches are usually directed to the teacher formation, that is, what should be considered or valued in the scope of knowledge of those who teach. This is a common scenario with discussions on theoretical knowledge of teachers and their relationship to the context of the classroom as to better understand the process of teaching and learning. This framework, which addresses the teacher's knowledge and / or the school environment, has not led to important changes in inadequate teaching practices. |

Muitos educadores têm desenvolvido pesquisas, projetos, teses, dissertações sobre o processo de ensino-aprendizagem analisando as atitudes didático-pedagógicas do professor e os requisitos necessários à docência. Contudo, o que se tem observado é que as pesquisas, geralmente, são direcionadas à formação profissional do professor, ou seja, o que deveria ser considerado ou valorizado no conjunto de conhecimentos de quem ensina. Trata-se de um quadro comum que tem mostrado discussões sobre os conhecimentos teóricos do professor e sua relação com o contexto de sala de aula, visando compreender melhor o processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Tal quadro, que aborda o saber do professor e/ou o contexto escolar não tem levado a mudanças relevantes de práticas pedagógicas inadequadas.
