Teacher native language: the training in question

Resumo: The modern university is being questioned about his rolein the initial and on going training, particularly in relation to teachers. Thinking of a change in the public university from the perspective of training and democratization, we note some points that are the condition and shape that change. This situation interferes with the competence teaching in various areas of study. Here, we list the condition of teacher training to failure in the mother tongue teaching in Brazil and suggest changes to the formation and action of this teacher, the path of education and linguistic agent literacy in all areas of knowledge.

Pensando numa mudança da universidade pública sob a perspectiva da formação e da democratização, assinalamos alguns pontos que são a condição e a forma dessa mudança. Essa situação interfere na competência docente no ensino das várias áreas de estudo.
