Development of reading skills in High School: the educational activities of the Caderno do Aluno

Resumo: | The objective of this study is to present a reflexive analysis on the activities to the development of reading skills of Caderno do Aluno- Portuguese Language, distributed by the Secretariat of Education of the State of Sao Paulo for high school students. This study is justified given the results presented by high school students on reading, as the report SARESP 2010.This is a bibliographic and descriptive research, which has as its object of analysis 24 reading activities proposed in the Caderno do Aluno- Portuguese Language of high school students. This work is founded on the bakhtinian concept of discoursive genre and the sociocognitive concept of reading. For its implementation, were selected Relatório Pedagógico Saresp 2010 three reading abilities of the appropriate level that obtained lower percentage of correct answers. Then, were observed the exercises and activities that develop such skills in the Caderno do Aluno from specific criteria. The study concluded that, as regards the discursive genres, activities operate in a way to enhance their diversity; as regard the activities related to reading skills, there was a need to review of exercises and articulation of content. |

O estudo se justifica pela necessidade de se dedicar uma atenção específica à abordagem desse tema nos materiais didáticos Caderno do Aluno Língua Portuguesa, distribuído pela Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo para alunos do Ensino Médio. O objetivo é oferecer uma análise reflexiva sobre as atividades e exercícios que esse material apresenta para desenvolver as habilidades de leitura. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica. Primeiramente, foram selecionadas, a partir dos dados disponibilizados pelo Relatório Pedagógico do Saresp 2010, as três habilidades de leitura do nível Adequado que obtiveram menor porcentagem de acertos. Em seguida, foram observados os exercícios e atividades que desenvolvem tais habilidades no Caderno do Aluno a partir de critérios específicos. A fundamentação para o trabalho alicerça-se na Matriz de Referência do Saresp e no Relatório do Saresp, bem como no conceito bakhtiniano de gênero discursivos. O estudo concluiu que, quanto aos gêneros discursivos, as atividades atuam de forma a valorizar sua diversidade; quanto às atividades referentes às habilidades de leitura, verificou-se a necessidade de revisão de exercícios e da articulação de conteúdos.Universidade Estadual de Londrina2015-12-04info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionPortuguese Language teaching.
