LEARNING-STUDIES OF GEOMETRY: CONSIDERATIONS OF STUDENTS IN THE DIVINOPOLIS-MG CITY

Resumo: | The present work is the synthesis of some results obtained in a research accomplished with the purpose to detect possible flaws in the learning-studies of the Geometry in 8 schools of Divinópolis city, MG, involving students from to 5th grade of the primary school to the 3rd year of the high school. It approaches the students' opinions that answered to a questionnaire where was requested them that talked about your contact to the Geometry, and yours and teachers' attitudes with relationship to the discipline. Specifically on geometric concepts, it evaluates your referring knowledge to you represent plane and space, in the one that they have of more elementary. The results show that a mistaken approach of the Geometry exists at the schools, and that many of the students ignore the basic concepts of the Geometry. It was concluded about the necessity of reflection, discussion the news questions and actions for the best quality in the educational process. |

Aborda as opiniões de alunos que responderam a um questionário em que lhes foi solicitado que falassem sobre seu contato com a Geometria, suas atitudes e de seus professores com relação a essa disciplina. Especificamente sobre conceitos geométricos, avalia seus conhecimentos referentes a figuras planas e espaciais, no que têm de mais elementar. Os resultados mostram que existe uma abordagem equivocada da Geometria nas escolas, e que muitos dos alunos desconhecem os conceitos básicos.
