Educational praxis for the Brazilian peasant populations: from pedagogical ruralism to historical-dialectical materialism

Resumo: Considering the trajectory of social movements in defense and in the construction of education for peasant populations, this article aimed to point out and discuss the possibilities and limitations of field education concept, to the extent that we believe that this discussion becomes even more important when we consider that the capitalist society is organized into social classes, with a strong domain of the class that holds the means of production on the class that sells workforce to ensure thelivelihood. The methodological guideline consisted of components of the technical-documentary analysis, as it admits scientific books and writings, laws, resolutions, ordinances, federal, state and local opinions as sources.We opted for the technical-documentary analysis, since the documents are stable and perennial source of information, persisting over time and can be consulted repeatedly, which provides greater stability to the conclusions.We realized the recognition of the social movements in defense of education in the field, the importance of knowledge in the formation process for peasant populations, camping and settled down, as well as a more objective understanding of the relevance in the fight for the transposition of the capitalist society.

Tomamos como orientación metodológica los elementos constituyentes del análisis técnico-documental, visto que este admite como fuentes los libros y las escrituras científicas así como leyes, resoluciones, reglamentos y dictámenes federales, estatales y municipales. Optamos por el análisis técnico-documental, pues los documentos constituyen fuente estable y perenne de informaciones, persisten en el tiempo y pueden ser consultados repetidas veces, lo que proporciona mayor estabilidad a las conclusiones del investigador. Constatamos el reconocimiento por parte de los movimientos sociales en defensa de una educación del campo de la importancia del conocimiento en el proceso formativo para las poblaciones campesinas, acampadas y asentadas así como una comprensión más objetiva de su relevancia en la lucha para la transposición de la sociedad capitalista. Considerando a trajetória de luta dos movimentos sociais em defesa e na construção de uma educação para as populações campesinas, este artigo tem por objetivos apontar e discutir as possibilidades e limitações da concepção de educação do campo, na medida em que entendemos que essa discussão se torna ainda mais importante quando consideramos que a sociedade capitalista está organizada em classes sociais, havendo amplo domínio da classe que detém os meios de produção sobre aquela que vende a sua força de trabalho para assegurar a própria existência. Tomamos como orientação metodológica os elementos constituintes da análise técnica-documental, visto que esta admite como fontes os livros e escritos científicos bem como leis, resoluções, portarias e pareceres federais, estaduais e municipais. Optamos pela análise técnica-documental, pois os documentos constituem fonte estável e perene de informações, persistem ao longo do tempo e podem ser consultados repetidas vezes, o que proporciona maior estabilidade às conclusões do pesquisador.
