Resumo: | This paper proposes to reflect about teacher training, focusing on an analysis of the teacher's knowledge built up over the pedagogical practice. The reflections presented here come from a study conducted in the doctoral level, specifically with regard to teacher education, although for this text, issues have been brought related to teacher education in their most conceptual and epistemological aspects, through a bibliographical study. The theoretical support is based, among others, on Cunha (2003), Tardif (2001; 2002), Pimenta (2000) and Pimenta and Anastasiou (2002). |

O presente texto propõe refletir acerca da formação de professores, tendo como foco de análise os saberes docentes construídos ao longo da prática pedagógica. As reflexões apresentadas têm origem em uma pesquisa desenvolvida em nível de doutoramento, mais especificamente no tocante aos professores de educação superior, embora, para este texto, tenham sido trazidas questões relacionadas à formação de professores em seus aspectos mais conceituais e epistemológicos por meio de um estudo bibliográfico. Os fundamentos teóricos que permitem a interlocução partem, dentre outros, de Cunha (2003), Tardif (2001; 2002), Pimenta (2000) e Pimenta e Anastasiou (2002).
