The National Common Core Curriculum (BNCC) states that science teaching in basic education should be based on investigation, curiosity, observation, creation, collaboration and that students need to be active in the process of building knowledge. The teaching of astronomy could not be any different; however, there are challenges that prevent schools from enabling students to learn according to these precepts. In this way, the aim of this research is to highlight the difficulties faced by teachers in teaching Astronomy, by observing pedagogical practices in a public school in the municipality of Ananindeua - PA, and to think about possibilities for teaching Astronomy based on the BNCC. In the aforementioned school institution, content and expository classes are visible, where only the textbook and printed activities are used as a resource, so it is necessary to think about methodological resources to deconstruct these traditional teaching practices. These methodological strategies were selected and constructed during classes in the subject Methodology of Science Teaching in the undergraduate Pedagogy course. The data collection and resources are presented through a scientific exhibition at the University of Amazonia, Ananindeua campus - PA, to students and education professionals, with the aim of contributing to the pedagogical practices of basic education teachers in relation to the study of Astronomy for children, and the results were satisfactory in terms of the opinions of the public at the scientific exhibition, who highlighted that these are valuable and quality resources for teaching Astronomy in basic education.
