Resumo: | This paper presents an activity developed during science classes where students used a digital camera to record their observations about the environment. The activities were performed in the schoolyard and inside the classroom. Firstly, the students observed an open environment. After choosing the target they registered it with a camera. The photographs obtained were displayed for the entire class, in order to discuss the perception of who took the picture and also the picture. A total of three activities were carried out and divided into the following themes: Science, Environment, and Ground. All the activities were recorded in audio and video for posterior analysis, allowing finding different perceptions and meanings produced by the children. This activity was a Science observation work that allowed the student to improve their observations skills. Throughout the work it was noticed that the students’ behavior changed as the activities were performed, given that they started to observe the phenomena more carefully. Thus, the conclusion is that photographs can be a good learning tool, since it allows the insertion of observation activities and description of Science phenomena. |
