Resumo: The mental process is characterized by a significant right hemispheric preference (HD), bi-hemispheric (BH) or left hemispheric (HE). Researches have shown tendencies associated with different ages and situations in which a preference is more beneficial when aligned to the hemisphere processor. Right preference was found in the study, in associated tasks, hypothesized to be a possible difference between genders. Sample of 30 individuals divided into three groups by hemispheric type. The subjects followed, on task, a stimulus to a target in a higher special temporal complexity. The statistics showed the HD group, male, significantly higher than HE (p

A estatística revelou o grupo HD, masculino, significativamente superior aos HE (pDepartment of Physical Education - State University of Maringá (UEM), Maringá-PR, Brazil2009-12-23info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionComparative Researchapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/6649Journal of Physical Education; Vol 20 No 4 (2009); 499-508Journal of Physical Education; Vol. 20 Núm. 4 (2009); 499-508Journal of Physical Education; v. 20 n. 4 (2009); 499-5082448-2455reponame:Journal of Physical Education (Maringá)instname:Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)instacron:UEMporhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/6649/5227Ferraz, Paulo César GuedesCalomeni, Mauricio RochaUchoa, PatríciaBotelho, LucianaSilva, Vernon Furtado dainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2023-01-10T15:37:45Zoai:periodicos.uem.br/ojs:article/6649Revistahttp://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/indexPUBhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.php||revdef@uem.br2448-24552448-2455opendoar:2023-01-10T15:37:45Journal of Physical Education (Maringá) - Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)false
