Resumo: The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of self-control of the distribution of the knowledge of result (KR) in the learning of a students’ motor skill. Twenty men and women university students (♀=21,13±2,26 years old; ♂=20,97±2,17 years old) were paired distributed in two groups: self-controlled and yoked group. The task was to launch metal discs in order to hit the target, placed on a table. The experiment had two phases: stabilization and adjustment. The performance measure was the absolute error (AE). For the data inferential analysis was used the ANOVA Two Way for repeated measures. There were no statistically significant differences between the yoked group and the self-controlled one during the studied phases. The performance shown on this task, which requires precision, seems not to be influenced by KR self-controlled.
