Resumo: Este artigo tem como objetivo abordar a possibilidade de cumulação dos adicionais de insalubridade e periculosidade, quando o trabalhador está submetido a duplo risco. Diante de uma visão moderna, ao empregado deve se garantir os direitos fundamentais sociais como consagração do princípio da dignidade da pessoa humana. Apresentando o aplicador do direito função de relevância na concretização destes direitos por meio de interpretações que adequem os direitos sociais dos trabalhadores a realidade social.
