Resumo: | This research is a study that involves Cordel Literature, literary literacy and the awareness of the violence practiced against the countryside woman. The main objective consists in working with the students the cordel Margarida Maria Alves, by Medeiros Braga (2008), which brings up elements about the life and fight of that peasant union leader, in order to proceed to the application of the sequence of literary literacy, according to the proposition of Rildo Cosson (2009). By considering that popular literature may represent an exciting and favorable experience to the practice of reading in the classroom, we utilized the methodological proposition of research-action, promoting an intervention in a class of the 9th degree of the Final Years of the Fundamental Teaching in a school of the public school network, in the city of Serraria-PB, stressing issues related to the fight against violence in the countryside, through an expressive way of learning, stimulating the development of the critical ability of the reader. We were guided by the theoretical assumptions of Lajolo (1982), Melo (1982), Solé (1998), Koch and Elias (2006), Colomer (2007), Rildo Cosson (2009), Todorov (2009), Marinho and Pinheiro (2012), Kleiman (2016), amongst others. The research was developed between the months of october and november, 2018, and the results, presented in chapter V, show that the use of the cordel, from a contextualized theme, contributed to the building of the criticism in the students and enabled an exercise of building awareness. |

O principal objetivo consiste em trabalhar com os alunos o cordel Margarida Maria Alves, da autoria de Medeiros Braga (2008), que traz elementos sobre a vida e a luta desta líder sindical camponesa, a fim de proceder à aplicação da sequência de letramento literário, conforme a proposta de Rildo Cosson (2009). Considerando que a literatura popular pode representar uma experiência instigadora e favorável às práticas de leitura em sala de aula, utilizamos a proposta metodológica de pesquisa-ação, promovendo uma intervenção em uma turma de 9º ano dos Anos Finais do Ensino Fundamental, de uma escola da rede pública do município de Serraria/PB, enfatizando questões relacionadas ao combate à violência no campo, através de uma aprendizagem de forma expressiva, estimulando o desenvolvimento da capacidade crítica do leitor.Norteamo-nos a partir dos pressupostos teóricos de Lajolo (1982),Melo (1982), Solé (1998),Koch e Elias (2006), Colomer (2007), Rildo Cosson (2009),Todorov (2009), Marinho e Pinheiro (2012), Kleiman (2016), entre outros.
