The possibilities of collaborative learning of teachers in the Virtual Platform Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is the aim object of this dissertation. Aimed to understand the learning and teaching strategies from the pedagogical mediation practices observed in the virtual learning environment among teachers of a public school in Campina Grande - Paraíba. The study comprised four professors of mathematics discipline of a public school. It is noteworthy that this school is part of the federal program that received funding for technology-based resources. It used the action research as research approach to promote understanding of the perception of actors and their understandings about the New Information and Communication Technologies and Collaborative Learning. The study was guided by some questions: Every teacher must attend computer? Every teacher working with distance education should be a webmaster? How can you develop a consistent pedagogical work without having a full field of possibilities of use of the tools of a Virtual Learning Environment? The research results inform how the teacher develops their teaching practice deepening their technical and pedagogical potential collaboratively favoring the teaching and learning processes in the classroom with their students. They also indicate that the flexibility of virtual environments for educational work promotes various conditions of teaching and learning in training for teaching.
