Resumo: | This article, based on a doctoral dissertation, has as general objective to analyze the effects of the Educational Program for Introduction to Tactile Cartographic Language, when applied in the context of a regular classroom, with blind students. To this end, a qualitative, exploratory research of a descriptive nature was carried out, characterized by an intervention. The following data collection instruments were used: open questionnaire, survey, interview, field diary and the intervention program. The data were subjected to the descriptive analysis. The development of this study showed that the mentioned program can and should be developed by teachers with all students in the regular classroom. Keywords: Special Education. Blindness. Para ello, se realizó una investigación cualitativa, exploratoria de carácter descriptivo caracterizada por una intervención. Fueron utilizados los siguientes instrumentos de recolección de datos: cuestionario abierto, encuesta, entrevista, agenda de campo y programa de intervención. Los datos fueron sometidos a análisis descriptivo. El desarrollo de este estudio demostró que el programa mencionado puede y debe ser desarrollado por los profesores con todos los alumnos en el aula común. Palabras clave: Educación Especial. Ceguera. Cartografía táctil.Este artigo, baseado em tese de doutoramento, tem como objetivo geral analisar os efeitos do Programa Educacional de Introdução à Linguagem Cartográfica Tátil, quando aplicado no contexto da sala de aula comum, com alunos com cegueira. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória de natureza descritiva, caracterizada por uma intervenção. Foram utilizados os seguintes instrumentos de coleta de dados: questionário aberto, sondagem, entrevista, diário de campo e o programa de intervenção. Os dados foram submetidos à análise descritiva. O desenvolvimento deste estudo mostrou que o programa mencionado pode e deve ser desenvolvido pelos professores com todos os alunos na sala de aula comum. Palavras-chave: Educação Especial. Cegueira.
