Brief review on ethics regulation in research: contributions to think of research in education in Brazil

Resumo: This article provides a review on ethics in research geared to researchers and Brazilian groups of research in education. We raised sources in Portuguese available on the web, crossing terms as “ethics in research involving human beings”, “ethics committees” , “ethics regulation in research”, “ethics in social research”, “ethics in educational research”. Seeking a panorama that valued diversity of topics and perspectives, we organized the sources into five topics: Integrity; Principles; Resolutions and Committees, with a subtopic on International Context; Ethics in social research; Populations and vulnerable subjects. Research in education is critical to broaden the debate about ethics regulation in research. In all categories, important educational and pedagogical aspects appear for promotion of integrity and ethics in the scientific community, for the defense of ethical pluralism and the recognition of symmetry between the areas of knowledge, considering specificities.   Keywords: Ethics in research. Research in Education.Este artículo presenta una revisión bibliográfica sobre ética en investigación, destinada a los investigadores brasileños y a grupos de investigación en temas de educación. Para su realización realizamos un relevamiento de referencias bibliográficas en portugués, disponibles en la web, cruzando términos como “ética en investigación con seres humanos”, “comités de ética”, “regulación de la ética en la investigación”, “ética en investigación social”, “ética en la investigación en educación”. Buscando construir un panorama que valorice la diversidad de temas y perspectivas, organizamos la bibliografía relevada en cinco categorías: Integridad; Principios, Resoluciones y Comités de Ética, con un subtópico sobre el contexto internacional; Ética en investigación social; Poblaciones y sujetos vulnerables. La investigación en educación será fundamental para ampliar el debate sobre la regulación de la ética en investigación. En todas las categorías aparecen aspectos educacionales y pedagógicos importantes para la promoción de la integridad y de la ética en la comunidad científica, para la defensa de la pluralidad ética y para el reconocimiento de la simetría entre áreas de conocimiento, considerando especificidades.   Palabras clave: Ética en investigación. Sistema CEP/CONEP. Investigación en Educación. Este artigo oferece uma revisão sobre ética em pesquisa voltada aos pesquisadores e aos grupos brasileiros de pesquisa em educação. Levantamos referências em português, disponíveis na web, cruzando termos como “ética em pesquisa com seres humanos”, “comitês de ética”, “regulação da ética em pesquisa”, “ética em pesquisa social”, “ética na pesquisa em educação”. Buscando um panorama que valorizasse a diversidade de temas e perspectivas, organizamos as referências em cinco tópicos: Integridade; Princípios; Resoluções e Comitês, com um subtópico sobre Contexto Internacional; Ética em pesquisa social; Populações e sujeitos vulneráveis. A pesquisa em educação será fundamental para ampliar o debate sobre a regulação da ética em pesquisa.
