Resumo: This article intends to analyse how the folklore teaching is developed in Child Education and its contributions as didactic resourse in classroom. The carried out research is of qualitative and descriptive nature. We’ve chosen the survey as data collection instrument, which sought to gather information with teachers, research subjects and a Center for Early Childhood Education, in order to understand the local folklore teching practices. According to the teachers, folklore is present in the school environment as an interdisciplinary didactic resourse, facilitating pedagogic action and children’s learning about different aspects of folk cultural identity. Folklore; Childhood Education; Education.Se propone en este trabajo un análisis acerca de cómo se desarrolla la enseñanza del folclore en la Educación infantil y sus contribuciones como recurso didáctico en el aula. La investigación realizada es de naturaleza cualitativa descriptiva. Para su desarrollo, se adoptó como instrumento de recolección de datos el cuestionario, que buscó buscar informaciones con profesores, sujetos de la investigación, de un Centro de Educación Infantil, a fin de realizar un análisis de cómo ocurre a la práctica de la enseñanza del folclore en esta escuela. De acuerdo con los profesores, el folclore se hace presente en el ambiente escolar como un recurso didáctico interdisciplinario y facilitador de la acción pedagógica y del aprendizaje de los niños sobre distintos aspectos de la identidad cultural de un pueblo. Folclore; Educación Infantil; Educación.Propõe-se neste trabalho uma análise acerca da forma como é desenvolvido o ensino do folclore na Educação Infantil e as suas contribuições como recurso didático na sala de aula. A pesquisa realizada é de natureza qualitativa descritiva. Para o seu desenvolvimento, adotou-se como instrumento de coleta de dados o questionário, que procurou buscar informações com professores, sujeitos da pesquisa, de um Centro de Educação Infantil, a fim de realizar uma análise de como ocorre a prática do ensino do folclore nesta escola. De acordo com os professores, o folclore se faz presente no ambiente escolar como um recurso didático interdisciplinar e facilitador da ação pedagógica e da aprendizagem das crianças sobre distintos aspectos da identidade cultural de um povo.
