Resumo: This article aims at point out a range of style within the Mexican director Carlos Reygadas' films, namely Japón (2002) and Post tenebras lux (2012). We highlight the modes stylistic constants, such as the taste for inland stories, the equivalence between power and violence among subalterns characters, the alcoholism, the tragic expedient, circularities, and so on. As theoretical support we read Fredric Jameson (1982), Fausto Colombo (1986), Fiedrich Nietzsche (1992), and Pierre Bourdieu (2015). Suma; Style; History; Unconscious; Violency.

Remarcamos como constancias estilísticas de sus diegeses los lugares en el interior del páis, la sinonimia entre violencia y poder de parte de los personajes en situación de subalternidad, el alcoholismo, la marca trágica, la circularidades de sus enredos, entre otros. Como apoyo teórico leemos a Fredric Jameson (1982), Fausto Colombo (1986), Fiedrich Nietzsche (1992) y a Pierre Bourdieu (2015). Suma; Estilo; Historia; Inconsciente; Violencia.Este artigo visa dar conta de uma série de implicações de estilo contidas nos filmes do diretor mexicano Carlos Reygadas, em especial em Japón (2002) e em Post tenebras Lux (2012). Pontualmente, remarcamos as constantes estilísticas relativas às diegeses ocorridas em lugares rurais, a sinonímia entre violência e poder de parte dos personagens em situação de subalternidade, o alcoolismo, o elã trágico, a circularidade do enredo, entre outros.
