Resumo: This article aims to analyze the images linked in the main page of the website of the International Cooperation Agency of the Institute of Man and Environment in the Amazon (IMAZON). In which one inquires whether the images of the Amazon, contained in the main page, are relevant for the construction and / or maintenance of the Amazonian imaginary, from its representations. Having as methodological process support the discourse analysis of Charaudeau (2008), thus identifying the expressive elements that characterize Amazonia in the images. Establishing a symbolic construction, on the region, presenting elements and constructive values, for the construction of the Amazonian imaginary. Image; Speech; Amazon; International cooperation.

En el que se indaga si las imágenes de la Amazonía, contenida en la página principal, son relevantes para la construcción y / o mantenimiento del imaginario amazónico a partir de sus representaciones. Con el proceso metodológico apoyo el análisis de discurso de Charaudeau (2008) identificando así los elementos expresivos que caracterizan a la Amazonía en las imágenes. Estableciendo una construcción simbólica, sobre la región, presentando elementos y valores constructivos, para la construcción del imaginario Amazónico. No qual se indaga se as imagens da Amazônia, contida na página principal, são relevantes para a construção e/ou manutenção do imaginário amazônico a partir de suas representações. Tendo como processo metodológico suporte a análise de discurso de Charaudeau (2008) identificando assim os elementos expressivos que caracterizam Amazônia nas imagens.
