Sociopolitical function of education and the role of pedagogues in non-school education: political-pedagogical areas of action and theoretical-professional fields

Resumo: The present essay explores the different roles and forms taken on by education in the latest centuries, with emphasis on its school and non-school conformation and the existence of different educational practices which permeate the set of organizations and private apparatuses of hegemony. In this scenario, the role of educationists in these spaces of non-school education is defended, given the necessity to imprint a proper pedagogical approach to the practices developed in these locations. In order to contribute to the building of such curricular and methodological devices aimed at the training and qualification of educationists and the investigation of their practices in non-school contexts, a theoretical-investigative matrix composed of political-pedagogical areas of action and theoretical-pedagogical fields is proposed. This mold blends and organizes the theoretical-normative, the ethical-political and the didactic-pedagogical foundations specific to the proposed scopes and fields.

Con este escenario como telón de fondo, se defiende el papel del pedagogo em los espacios educativos no escolares, dada la necesidad de dotar a las prácticas educativas desarrolladas em estos espacios de un carácter propiamente pedagógico. Para colaborar con la construcción de dispositivos curriculares y metodológicos dirigidos a la formación del pedagogo y la investigación de sus prácticas en contextos no escolares, se propone una matriz teórico-investigativa compuesta por áreas de acción político-pedagógicas y campos teórico-profesionales que puedan aunar y sistematizar fundamentos teórico-normativos, ético-políticos y didáctico-pedagógicos propios de los ámbitos y campos propuestos.O presente ensaio percorre as diferentes funções e formas assumidas pela educação nos últimos séculos, dando destaque a sua conformação escolar e não-escolar e à presença de outras práticas educativas permeando o conjunto de organizações e aparelhos privados de hegemonia. Tendo este cenário como pano de fundo, defende-se a atuação do pedagogo em espaços de educação não-escolares, dada a necessidade de imprimir às práticas educativas desenvolvidas nesses espaços um caráter propriamente pedagógico.
