PEDAGOGY AND PEDAGOGUES IN THE BRAZILIAN CONTEXT: INFLECTIONS ON PERSISTENT DILEMMAS

Resumo: | This article presents partial results of a research developed at doctoral level, more specifically, of the documental analysis carried out on Pedagogical Projects (PP) of four Pedagogy courses located in the state of Bahia, as well as semi-structured interviews carried out with their coordinators, where it was sought to realize what place the epistemological debate about Pedagogy as a knowledge field occupies in the scope of the pedagogical-curricular proposal and in the daily formative actions inside these graduation courses. Theoretically, the research is based on the studies of Libâneo (2010), Pimenta (2021), Franco (2008), Saviani (2008) and Silva-Junior (2019), which converge in the defense of the epistemological specificity of Pedagogy as Science of Education. The results indicate that the discussion about Pedagogy regarding its epistemic dimension occupies an embryonic place within the researched courses, raising the need for a more dense debate at national level about this historical problematic in the Brazilian scenario. |

The results indicate that the discussion about Pedagogy regarding its epistemic dimension occupies an embryonic place within the researched courses, raising the need for a more dense debate at national level about this historical problematic in the Brazilian scenario.Este artículo presenta resultados parciales de una investigación desarrollada a nivel de doctorado, más específicamente, del análisis documental realizado sobre Proyectos Pedagógicos (PP) de cuatro cursos de Pedagogía ubicados en el estado de Bahía, así como de entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a sus coordinadores, donde se buscó dar cuenta de qué lugar ocupa el debate epistemológico sobre la Pedagogía como campo de conocimiento en el ámbito de la propuesta pedagógico-curricular y en las acciones formativas cotidianas dentro de estos cursos de graduación. Teóricamente, la investigación se basa en los estudios de Libâneo (2010), Pimenta (2021), Franco (2008), Saviani (2008) y Silva-Junior (2019), que convergen en la defensa de la especificidad epistemológica de la Pedagogía como Ciencia de la Educación. Los resultados indican que la discusión sobre la Pedagogía en cuanto a su dimensión epistémica ocupa un lugar embrionario dentro de los cursos investigados, planteando la necesidad de un debate más denso a nivel nacional sobre esta problemática histórica en el escenario brasileño.Este artigo apresenta resultados parciais de uma pesquisa desenvolvida em nível de doutorado, mais especificamente, da análise documental realizada sobre Projetos Pedagógicos (PP) de quatro cursos de Pedagogia situados no estado da Bahia, bem como de entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas com os seus coordenadores, nas quais buscou-se perceber qual lugar ocupa o debate epistemológico sobre a Pedagogia como campo de conhecimento no âmbito da proposta pedagógica-curricular e nas ações formativas cotidianas no interior desses cursos de graduação. Teoricamente, a pesquisa está pautada nos estudos de Libâneo (2010), Pimenta (1996), Franco (2008), Saviani (2008) e Silva-Junior (2019), os quais convergem na defesa da especificidade epistemológica da Pedagogia como Ciência da Educação.
