Resumo: | This text aims to establish a dialogue based on approximations between the ideas of two important thinkers in the contemporary educational context: Paulo Freire and Edgar Morin. They are also contemporary in their participation in the social and political universe of those times. Another objective is to encourage reflection with and in diversity, privileging education as a possibility for transforming reality. This study is carried out at a favorable moment to think about ways to face obstacles in education, science, economics, and politics, resulting from a serious pandemic that, in Brazil alone, until August 2020, had already reaped more than 120 thousand lives. We highlight aspects of the authors' work, such as: politicization of thought, loveliness, hope and utopia, considering points of convergence. The methodology is bibliographic. |

Otro objetivo es fomentar la reflexión con y en la diversidad, privilegiando la educación como posibilidad de transformación de la realidad. Este estudio se realiza en un momento propicio para pensar en formas de enfrentar obstáculos en educación, ciencia, economía y política, producto de una grave pandemia que, solo en Brasil, hasta agosto de 2020, ya había cosechado más de 120 mil vidas. Destacamos aspectos del trabajo de los autores como: politización del pensamiento, hermosura, esperanza y utopía, considerando puntos de convergencia. La metodología es bibliográfica.Este texto tem por objetivo estabelecer um diálogo a partir de aproximações entre as ideias de dois pensadores importantes no contexto educacional contemporâneo: Paulo Freire e Edgar Morin. Eles são também contemporâneos na participação no universo social e político desses tempos. Outro objetivo é suscitar a reflexão com e na diversidade, privilegiando a educação como possibilidade de transformação da realidade. Esse estudo se realiza em momento propício para se pensar em caminhos para o enfrentamento de entraves na educação, na ciência, na economia, na política, decorrentes de grave pandemia que, só no Brasil, até agosto de 2020, já havia ceifado mais de 120 mil vidas. Destacamos da obra dos autores, aspectos como: politização do pensamento, amorosidade, esperança e utopia, considerando pontos de convergência.
