Resumo: The ENEM and ENADE exams are part of the Brazilian education scenario since they are applied when the student is completing basic and higher education. The ENEM exam selects and classifies the students who will occupy the vacancies in the colleges or universities, based on the cut-off grade established by each of these institutions, for each undergraduate course offered. The ENADE exam evaluates and hierarchizes colleges and universities in terms of the performance of its students. This thesis focuses on the analysis of the questions of language, codes and their technologies exam and the writing exam of the ENEM, from the years 2000, 2010 and 2019 and general training, from the ENADE exam, from the years 2010 and 2019. We analyze critically in what terms the cultural capital present in issues of these exams contributes to the maintenance of sociocultural inequalities. The theoretical support comes from the studies of the reproduction of Bourdieu and Passeron and the concept of Bourdieu's cultural capital that were applied in the analysis of the corpus. The methodological support includes Rojo's critical discourse analysis and Bardin's content analysis. We established three categories for the analysis of the questions: the role of logical reasoning, the role of content and the role of the citizenship experience. The study allowed us to verify that the ENEM exam has changed its feature over the years, to meet the demand of federal universities that have become part of the set of colleges and universities that adopt the exam as proof of access to undergraduate courses and that ENADE exam is a less complex exam when compared to ENEM.

O ENEM seleciona e classifica os estudantes que ocuparão as vagas nas universidades, com base na nota de corte estabelecida por cada IES, para cada curso de graduação oferecido. O ENADE avalia e hierarquiza as IES em termos do desempenho de seus estudantes. Esta tese está centrada na análise de questões das provas de linguagens, códigos e suas tecnologias e de redação do ENEM, dos anos de 2000, 2010 e 2019 e de formação geral, do ENADE, dos anos de 2010 e 2019. Analisamos criticamente em que termos o capital cultural presente em questões dessas avaliações contribui para a manutenção das desigualdades socioculturais. O suporte teórico provém dos estudos da reprodução de Bourdieu e Passeron e do conceito de capital cultural de Bourdieu que foram aplicados na análise do corpus. O suporte metodológico contempla a análise crítica do discurso, de Rojo, e a análise de conteúdo, de Bardin. Estabelecemos três categorias para a análise das questões: o papel do raciocínio lógico, o papel do conteúdo e o papel da experiência da cidadania.
