Resumo: The work presented here aimed, initially, to know the perspective of NEJA High School students about their curricula, from their daily experiences at school. However, crossed by SARS-COV-2, which provoked a series of sanitary measures, studies became remote and research on schools and their subjects needed to be changed. Thus, the initial idea was added to record the experiences of these students from NEJA classes at a state school in Baixada Fluminense. The research brings reports from students about the new way of carrying out their studies, the adaptation to this reality and what was produced from knowledge far from classroom school demarcations. From the texts of these learners, we were able to know how this period of remote classes was seen and what changes were necessary to continue the teaching-learning process. Data collection was carried out using two Google Forms and taking advantage of Textual Production works in the Portuguese course. A point to be highlighted by way of conclusions is the importance that the public school assumes for these students, who return to school after a period away from it. Many, despite the mishaps, believe that continuing their studies is the best way out for a better life.

Entretanto, atravessados pela SARS-COV-2, que provocou uma série de medidas sanitárias, os estudos passaram a ser remotos e as pesquisas sobre escola e seus sujeitos precisaram ser alteradas. Assim, somou-se à ideia inicial o registro das experiências desses estudantes de turmas de NEJA de uma escola estadual na Baixada Fluminense. A pesquisa traz relatos de discentes sobre a nova forma de realização de seus estudos, a adaptação a essa realidade e o que foi produzido de conhecimento longe das demarcações escolares presenciais. A partir dos textos desses aprendentes pudemos conhecer como esse período de aulas remotas foi visto e que mudanças foram necessárias para dar continuidade ao processo de ensino aprendizagem. A coleta de dados foi realizada a partir de dois fomulários do Google Forms e, aproveitando trabalhos de Produção textual na disciplina de Português. Um ponto a ser ressaltado à guiza de conclusões é a importância que a escola pública assume para esses estudantes, que retornam à escola depois de um período afastado dela.
