The Teaching of Science is recognized as important for the formation of critical citizens, this is constituted by areas such as Zoology, Genetics and Botany. The Teaching of Botany ends up being neglected for being seen as unattractive, causing what is called Botanical Blindness. Although admittedly important the use of practical modalities has difficulties in the development. Having regard to these issues and having regard to the fact that few studies are carried out with science teaching in the initial grades of elementary school, the dissertation aims to evaluate the significance of the development of practical activities in Botany in generating greater interest and better understanding of aspects of the development, needs and characteristics of plants for students of the 3rd year of the initial years of Elementary School. An analysis of the textbooks and the questionnaire applied to the teachers of Elementary School I on the Teaching of Botany, as well as a search through forms for the knowledge of students of the 3rd year of Elementary School and the applicability of practical activities in Botany in this year‟s classroom of classes in Colégio Brigadeiro Newton Braga. As well as they allowed questions to be generated by the researcher in relation to her research, generation of forms and formulation of questions. Finally, a digital practice guide with ISBN was built as a product with the development of some easily accessible botanical practices that can be performed with Elementary School, These are explained by means of concepts and aiming at the deductive-hypothetical methodological development.
