Permanences of ethnic-racial stereotypes in speeches and textbook images

Resumo: The bibliographical research aimed to analyze speeches and pictures about Afro- Brazilian history and culture, and Indigenous African educational PNLD selected Collections-National Textbook Program. Through the research of the contents of the thematic units of the books and their representations on the part of whites, blacks, Indians and mestizos to nation building was possible implicit and explicit mechanisms highlight the reproduction of values of the European hegemony and the perpetuation of the myth of racial democracy. In this way, the ethnic and racial diversity, even assured by law 10,639/03 and 11,645/08, continues to mean a historic challenge as to the implementation of an education for the ethnic-racial relations directed to the enhancement of ethnic and racial belonging, to the past of struggle of African and indigenous ancestry and to combat the social and institutional racism. Mediante a investigação dos conteúdos das unidades temáticas dos livros e suas representações sobre o papel de brancos, negros, indígenas e mestiços para a construção da nação foi possível identificar mecanismos implícitos e explícitos da reprodução de valores da hegemonia européia e da perpetuação do mito da democracia racial. Desta forma, a diversidade étnico-racial, mesmo asse  gurada pelas leis 10.639/03 e 11.645/08, continua a significar um desafio histórico quanto à implementação de uma educação para as relações étnico-raciais direcionada à valorização do pertencimento étnico-racial, ao passado de luta dos ancestrais africanos e indígenas e ao combate do racismo social e institucional. La investigación bibliográfica tuvo como objetivo analizar discursos e imágenes sobre historia y cultura afrobrasileña, africana e indígena en colecciones didácticas seleccionadas por PNLD - Programa nacional de libros de texto. A través de la investigación de los contenidos de las unidades temáticas de libros y sus representaciones sobre el papel de los blancos, negros, indígenas y mestizos para la construcción de la nación, fue posible identificar mecanismos implícitos y explícitos para la reproducción de valores de la hegemonía europea y la perpetuación del mito de la democracia. racial De esta manera, la diversidad étnico-racial, incluso garantizada por las leyes 10.639 / 03 y 11.645 / 08, continúa representando un desafío histórico con respecto a la implementación de una educación para las relaciones étnico-raciales destinadas a valorar la pertenencia étnico-racial, mientras que pasado de lucha de ancestros africanos e indígenas y la lucha contra el racismo social e institucional.   Palabras clave: Diversidad étnico-racial, Libro de texto, Formación docente, Racismo, Ley 10.639/03.
