Resumo: The paper is the result of a qualitative research carried out in 2020. The aim was to know the attitudes and values ​​that underlie the educational relationship of university professors who work with the training of future Mathematics teachers. For the production of information, semi-structured interviews were used, with the collaboration of three professors from the Degree in Mathematics at the Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS). The analysis of the corpus was carried out based on the content analysis technique, in its thematic version. The findings indicate that the educational relationship of the teachers is based on the following humanistic values ​​and attitudes: ethics, justice, lovingness, openness to dialogue, empathy, active listening and respect for students. Such attitudes and values, capable of transforming reality, were defended by Paulo Freire throughout his life. Keywords: Values. Attitudes. Paulo Freire. Teacher training.

Teve-se por objetivo conhecer atitudes e valores que fundamentam a relação educativa de professores universitários que trabalham com a formação de futuros docentes de Matemática. Na produção das informações foram usadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com a colaboração de três professores do Curso de Licenciatura em Matemática da Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS). Para análise do corpus inspirou-se na técnica análise do conteúdo, em sua versão temática. Os achados indicam que a relação educativa dos docentes se pauta nos seguintes valores e atitudes humanísticos, tais como: ética, justiça, amorosidade, abertura ao diálogo, empatia, escuta ativa e respeito aos estudantes.
