Resumo: The state of Bahia published the State Law n. 14.315 on 06/17/2021 to make its legal framework compatible with the national Legal Framework for Science, Technology and Innovation (CT&I). In this context, this article analyzes the regulatory experience of the state of Bahia comparing the initial proposal and its official publication. This is a descriptive and documentary study of an exploratory nature with a critical perspective. As a methodology, we opted for a bibliographic review and comparative analysis of the legal texts of the proposed bill and the final enacted version. The results point to deletions that mitigate the state's ST&I policies. Concerted actions by the actors involved are suggested to rescue the proposals than grant a greater budgetary and technical autonomy of the State ST&I System in the state of Bahia.

Nesse contexto, este artigo analisa a experiência regulatória do Estado da Bahia desde a proposta inicial até sua publicação oficial. Trata-se de estudo descritivo e documental de natureza exploratória com perspectiva crítica. Como metodologia, optou-se pela revisão bibliográfica e análise comparativa dos textos legais do projeto de lei proposto e da versão final promulgada. Os resultados apontam supressões que mitigam as políticas de CT&I do Estado.
