ANTHROPOLOGICAL EMBRACE: reflections on the teaching-learning process in anthropology

Resumo: This paper aims to present theoretical and methodological considerations about teaching strategies in Anthropology, based on the debatesdeveloped during the course  “Transformation, corporeality and affection in the construction of academic knowledge in times of crisis”, a special seminar held at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) in the first semester of 2020 in remote format due to the covid-19 pandemic.  Reflecting on the investigative  opportunities that arise from recognizing affectivities and  approaching other forms of  knowledge, we present a descriptive  and propositional account of the  experience of this course, in which we implemented and debated methodologies that take these aspects into account both in the classroom and in fieldwork. As a result, we highlight that the academic training space basedon experimenting with perceptions, reflections and exchanges that bring together formal academic knowledge and popular education methodsproved to be a fruitful possibility, always under construction, for critical and dialogical reflection.

As a result, we highlight that the academic training space basedon experimenting with perceptions, reflections and exchanges that bring together formal academic knowledge and popular education methodsproved to be a fruitful possibility, always under construction, for critical and dialogical reflection. En este trabajo, construimos consideraciones teóricas y metodológicas sobre las estrategias de enseñanza en antropología desarrolladas a lo largo de la concepción e implementación del curso especial ‘Transformación, corporeidad y afecto en la creación de conocimiento académico en tiempos de crisis’,  llamado cariñosamente Abrazo Antropológico, realizado en el primer semestre de la pandemia de Covid-19 en la Universidad Federal de Paraíba, Brasil (UFPB). Muchas veces, la demanda de especialización en las ciencias ignora los vínculos afectivos, los saberes prácticos y corporales asi como las relaciones político-sociales imbrincados en la construcción de conocimiento presentes en el cotidiano de estudiantes y docentes. Reflexionando sobre las posibilidades de fomentar el reconocimiento de los afectos y la promoción de la autonomía en los espacios de formación académica, proponemos reelaborar elementos importantes a tener en cuenta en el aprendizaje científico realizado en el ámbito académico.Cet article vise à présenter des considérations théoriques et méthodologiques sur les stratégiesd’enseignement en anthropologie, sur la base des débats développés lors du cours “Transformation, corporalité et affection dans la création de connaissances académiques en temps  de crise”, un séminaire spécial lié à l’Université fédérale de Paraíba (UFPB) et organisé au premier semestre 2020dans un format en ligne en raison de la pandémie de covid-19. Réfléchissant aux possibilités d’investigation qui découlent de la reconnaissance de l’affectivité et de l’approche d’autres formes de connaissance, nous  présentons un compte rendu descriptif et propositionnel de l’expérience de cecours, dans lequel nous avons mis en oeuvre et débattu de méthodologies qui prennent en compte ces aspects à la fois dans la salle de classe et dansle travail sur le terrain. En conséquence, nous soulignons que l’espace de formation académiquebasé sur l’expérimentation de perceptions, de réflexions et de partages qui réunissent les connaissances académiques formelles et les méthodes d’éducation populaire s’est avéré être une possibilité fructueuse, toujours en construction,pour une réflexion critique et dialogique. Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar considerações teóricas e metodológicas acerca das estratégias de ensino em Antropologia, tomando como base os debates desenvolvidos ao longo do curso “Transformação, corporeidade e afeto na criação do conhecimento acadêmico em tempos de crise”, seminário especial vinculado à Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB) e realizado no primeiro semestre de 2020 em formato remoto devido à pandemia de covid-19. Refletindo sobre as possibilidades investigativas que surgem a partir do reconhecimento das afetividades e da aproximação com outras formas de saber, apresentamos um relato descritivo e propositivo sobre a experiência deste curso, no qual implementamos e debatemos metodologias que levam em consideração esses aspectos tanto na sala de aula como no trabalho de campo.
